DEBATING
 
English Speaking Union
Zeno Agnew-Davies and Henry Wilson ('Nuclear Weapons') – won their debate in the Guildford round but did not qualify for next round.
 
Institute of Ideas
Ben Sanderson and James McEntee ('No Platform Policy') – won the Surrey Semi-final
Zeno Agnew-Davies and Henry Wilson ('Animal Testing') – lost in the Surrey Final
 
Oxford Union Schools Debating (Senior)
Izzy Baynham-Herd and Henry Wilson – 6th/48 in teh SE Regional Final
Zeno Agnew-Davies and Shaunagh Duncan – performed well in the SE Regional final
Ben Sanderson and James McEntee – performed well in the SE Regional final
 
Oxford Union Schools Debating (Junior)
Paddy Wilson and Alex Clarke ('Music and Violent Crime', 'Banning Meat', 'Homosexual Portrayal on Kids TV, 'Paying Parents of Obese Children) – 30th out of 64 teams, with Paddy placing in the top half and Alex in the top third individually.
 
House competition
Won by NORTH ('Adverts and Children', 'Sex Selection, 'Faith Schools') – Zeno Agnew-Davies, Cam Rankine, Paddy Wilson


PUBLIC SPEAKING
 
English Speaking Union
Marc Sadler, Peter Wescott, Oli Holden ('Democracy is Good') – lost in the Guildford round.
 
Rotary Club (Intermediate)
Paddy Wilson, Alex Clarke, Will Stocks ('Sterotypes') – came second in the local round
 
Rotary Club (Senior)
Sam Barratt, Peter Wescott, James Thompson ('Drama is the best Art') – came second in the local round
Henry Wilson, James Currie, Mike Mockford (Man and nature) – won lthe ocal round, came second in the Area final and bowed out at the district final.
 
House competition (Junior)
Won by EAST ('Bicycles') – Charlie Moulton, Bruno Broughton, Will Yeeles
 
House competition (Senior)
Won by EAST ('Man and Nature') – Henry Wilson, James Currie, Mike Mockford
