Pupils join Cranleigh from a wide variety of prep and primary schools across London, the Home Counties and overseas, creating a lively House-based community of young people who are drawn together by their inherent love of life and by getting involved in everything Cranleigh has to offer.
Our ethos is one of full participation for each pupil’s individual journey with us and we pride ourselves on offering a breathtaking range of opportunities in co-curricular activities to complement and enhance academic life. We provide a place for every child to discover their talent and discover themselves.
Cranleigh offers both boarding and day for our families.
We realise that boarding is a big decision for families and may be a significant change from current school life. In year 9 our boarders have the flexibility to spend one night a week at home whilst they adapt to this new environment. The majority of Cranleighans are extremely busy during the first six days of the week, but most choose to be with their families after Saturday matches, returning on Sunday evening or Monday morning. For our weekend boarders we offer a programme of exciting and stimulating activities and outings.
